It adopts 24G millimeter wave radar detection technology, which has more prominent precision advantages compared to 5.8G radar: the detection distance accuracy reaches ±10cm, the delay time is more precise, the human recognition accuracy is higher, and the preprocessing speed in unoccupied status is faster. It is also equipped with a unique FMCW (Frequency-Modulated Continuous Wave) fast algorithm, which can not only detect moving human bodies but also accurately capture stationary human bodies (e.g., standing, sitting quietly) and micro-movements (e.g., breathing, heartbeat) without detection blind spots, significantly reducing the false alarm rate.
Two versions (WiFi and ZigBee) are available to meet different usage needs:
WiFi Version: No additional hub is required; it can connect directly to a WiFi router for out-of-the-box use. Suitable for scenarios such as rental apartments or single-room smart renovations, with a low entry barrier.
ZigBee Version: Requires a Tuya ZigBee gateway. The gateway serves as the core hub for whole-house intelligence, connecting other Tuya ZigBee devices to achieve more stable signal transmission and multi-device linkage. Ideal for whole-house smart setups.
Power Supply: Differentiated design based on installation type—
Ceiling-mounted version: Compatible with AC80-250V wide voltage, no additional power adapter needed.
Wall-mounted version: Powered by USB 5V1A, with a USB cable included for more flexible installation locations.
Basic Performance: Operating current ≤ 70mA (low energy consumption); operating temperature range -20℃~+70℃, capable of withstanding extreme indoor temperature differences (e.g., cold winters in northern regions, hot summers in southern regions).
Detection & Adjustment Parameters: Detection distance 0.3-9m (default 6m), supporting custom minimum/maximum detection distance within 0.1m~9.5m to accurately define the sensing area; sensitivity has 0-9 levels (default level 7, adjustable according to the environment); supports illuminance detection (0-2000Lux) for linking devices to respond automatically based on brightness; delay time is configurable—target detection confirmation time (0-10s) and target disappearance delay time (0.5s~25min, recommended to be no less than 15s to avoid missing human movements).
Installation Method: Focuses on wall-mounted installation, no complex wiring required, suitable for most wall environments.
Package Contents: Includes 1×human presence detector, 1×user manual; the wall-mounted version additionally comes with 1×USB cable, meeting basic installation and usage needs.
The 24G millimeter wave radar technology breaks the limitation of traditional sensors that "only detect movement"—it covers the full scenario of "moving human bodies + stationary human bodies + micro-movements". For example, it can monitor human breathing during sleep in bedrooms and capture the stationary state after a fall in elderly rooms, avoiding missed alarms caused by stationary humans. Comprehensive management can be achieved via Tuya ecosystem APPs (e.g., Tuya Smart, Smart Life):
Real-Time Monitoring: Remotely check the "occupied/unoccupied" status and receive real-time alerts for human detection.
Historical Records: Query past human detection records to trace the usage patterns of scenarios.
Parameter Customization: Adjust sensitivity (0-9 levels), detection distance (0.1-9.5m), and delay time (detection confirmation/disappearance delay) in the APP without on-site operation.
Linkage Settings: Configure device linkage rules directly in the APP (e.g., "detect human → turn on lights", "3 minutes unoccupied → turn off air conditioner").
It supports in-depth linkage with smart devices in the Tuya ecosystem (lights, air conditioners, TVs, sockets, etc.):
Home Scenarios: When returning home at night, the detector automatically turns on the entrance light and living room air conditioner after detecting a human; when leaving home, it automatically turns off all non-essential appliances to avoid energy waste.
Hotel Scenarios: When guests enter the room, it automatically turns on welcome lights; after guests leave, it turns off the air conditioner and lighting with a delay, reducing hotel operating energy consumption.
Through the logic of "linkage when people come, turn off when people leave", it enhances convenience while achieving energy conservation.
With an operating temperature range of -20℃~+70℃, it can adapt to extreme environments such as low indoor temperatures in northern winters and high temperatures in southern summers. Wall-mounted installation requires no damage to decorations, making it suitable for wall structures in homes, hotels, office buildings, and other scenarios with strong practicality.
Living Room/Entrance: The WiFi version directly links to lights and air conditioners, realizing "automatically turn on lights and air conditioners when returning home, and turn off when leaving", enhancing daily convenience.
Bedroom/Elderly Room: Utilizing the micro-movement detection function of 24G radar, it monitors the breathing, heartbeat, or getting-up movements of the elderly during sleep; in case of abnormalities, it can link to the APP to send reminders, ensuring home safety.
Kitchen: It automatically turns on kitchen lights when a human is detected entering and turns them off with a delay after leaving, avoiding energy waste caused by forgetting to turn off lights and reducing the trouble of manually touching switches in an oily environment.
Guest Rooms: The ZigBee version is integrated with the hotel's whole-house smart system—when guests check in, it automatically turns on the room lights and air conditioner; after check-out, it automatically cuts off power to non-essential devices, reducing hotel energy consumption. It can also assist in housekeeping scheduling by detecting the "unoccupied status" (e.g., notifying cleaners to tidy up after confirming guests have left).
Offices/Garages: In areas such as office corridors and garages, it automatically turns on lighting when a human is detected and turns it off when unoccupied, saving office energy consumption.
Security Monitoring: In homes, offices, or retail spaces, it can be used as an auxiliary security device—when a human is detected during non-working/living hours, it sends intrusion alerts via the APP, enhancing security protection levels.
