It adopts Passive Infrared (PIR) detection technology for human motion recognition, and supports dual wireless connections (2.4GHz WiFi and Zigbee) :
WiFi complies with the IEEE 802.11b/g/n standard, enabling direct connection to home WiFi routers without an additional hub. Suitable for single-device or small-scale smart scenarios.
Zigbee uses the IEEE 802.15.4 frequency band (2.400-2.483GHz) with a maximum radio transmit power of <+10dBm for stable signals. It requires a Tuya Zigbee hub to achieve multi-device linkage, ideal for whole-house smart setups.
It is compatible with multiple APPs, including "Smart Life", "Tuya Smart", and "MOES" APPs. The unified operation interface adapts to different users’ usage habits.
Powered by 2 LR03-1.5V AAA alkaline batteries (batteries not included), it features ultra-low power consumption design:
The standby current is only 22uA, and the alarm current is ≤45mA, supporting a battery life of up to 2 years. This significantly reduces the hassle of frequent battery replacement.
No wiring is needed; it works normally with battery power, so the installation location is not limited by power outlets, adapting to more spatial scenarios.
Detection Range: With a 128° horizontal detection angle and a detection distance of ≤6 meters, it covers a wide area. A single device can meet the detection needs of small to medium indoor spaces such as bedrooms and living rooms, reducing monitoring blind spots.
Physical Specifications: The product dimensions are 71×25×19.7mm, compact and lightweight (single gross weight 0.251kg). It does not damage the indoor decoration style after installation.
Installation Method: Adopts wall-mounted installation, no complex wiring or drilling required (can be fixed with double-sided tape). The installation position is flexible; it can be attached to walls, cabinet sides, and other areas, adapting to different home layouts.

The 128° wide detection angle combined with a ≤6-meter detection distance allows a single device to cover small to medium spaces such as bedrooms, living rooms, and entrances. Compared with ordinary narrow-angle sensors (e.g., those with angles below 90°), it reduces blind spots at corners and edges. It is especially suitable for open home layouts, enabling comprehensive detection without overlapping multiple devices.
The 2-year battery life cycle is much longer than the industry average (most similar sensors have a battery life of less than 1 year). With a standby current of only 22uA, frequent battery removal and replacement are unnecessary. When the battery is low, the APP will send a reminder to avoid detection interruptions caused by dead batteries, reducing later maintenance costs and operational troubles.
Real-Time Alerts: When human motion is detected, it sends instant notifications via the APP (MOES/Smart Life/Tuya). Whether the user is at home or not, they can grasp the human activity dynamics in the space in real time, avoiding missing abnormal situations (e.g., strangers breaking in).
Historical Records: It can store and view detection data, supporting the review of human motion trajectories during specific periods. This facilitates subsequent analysis (e.g., checking "whether children return home on time" or "the daily activity frequency of the elderly" in home scenarios) and provides data support for security management.
It can deeply link with various smart devices in the Tuya ecosystem to realize automated scenarios:
Link with smart bulbs: Automatically turn on the lights when a human is detected, and turn off the lights with a delay when no one is present (e.g., "auto-turn on the entrance light when returning home" in the entrance, "auto-turn on the light when getting up at night" in the corridor).
Link with curtains/air conditioners: When a human is detected in the living room, automatically open the curtains and turn on the air conditioner; turn off the devices when no one is present, balancing comfort and energy conservation.
Link with security devices: Link with smart cameras and alarms. When abnormal human activity is detected (e.g., intrusion during non-family hours), trigger the camera to record and activate the alarm, enhancing security levels.
No professional electrician for wiring is needed. With battery power and wall-mounted installation, ordinary users can fix it with double-sided tape or screws. The APP supports "auto-discovery" of devices, and the network configuration steps are simple without complex settings. Even the elderly or beginners of smart devices can quickly get started.
Entrance/Corridor: Installed on the entrance wall, it automatically links to the entrance light to turn on when a human (user returning home) is detected, avoiding fumbling for switches. In the corridor, it realizes "lights on when people come, lights off when people leave" to reduce energy waste.
Bedroom/Children’s Room: When human activity (e.g., getting up at night) is detected at night, it links to a night light to turn on at low brightness, avoiding disturbing others’ sleep with strong light. In the children’s room, detection records can help parents understand whether their children get up frequently at night.
Kitchen/Balcony: After installation in the kitchen, the workbench lamp automatically turns on when a human enters and turns off when leaving, avoiding manual switch operation in an oily environment. On the balcony, when a human is detected, it links to the clothes rack to lower automatically, improving usability.
Living Room/Study: During non-family activity hours (e.g., the owner is at work, sound asleep at night), when human motion is detected, the APP sends an instant alert and links to the smart camera for recording and the smart alarm to sound, deterring intruders.
Storage Room/Garage: Installed at the entrance of the storage room or garage, it triggers an alarm when abnormal human activity is detected to prevent property theft, and links to the lights to turn on at the same time, making it easy for users to check the on-site situation.
